Chris qualified as a chartered acountant when working as an auditor for Peat Marwick in Auckland. In 1985 and 1986 she worked for KPMG in Perth, Western Australia. The next ten years were spent teaching at Curtin University in Perth. Following a move back to NZ she started at the University of Auckland in 2002.
