My research can be broadly described as organisation of . I have current projects on:
• Innovation management, particularly across fields of practice
• Organisation of innovation in Local and National Innovation Systems
• Learning and knowledge processes, particularly as they relate to innovation in knowledge-intensive firms
• Theories of Practice in Commerce (ToPiC)

In 2012 I teach INNOVENT201 (Understanding Innovation and Entrepreneurship), which is a core course in the Innovation and Entrepreneurship undergraduate programme, and I co-teach COMMENT 703 (Research Commercialisation) with Peter Lee, CEO of Uniservices. COMMENT 703 is part of the new Post Graduate Diploma in Research Commercialisation that will be taught for the first time is 2012.
