Work experience: Six years at Simpson Grierson working in banking and finance litigation; three years at McElroys working in insurance law and insurance related litigation; I then worked as a senior researcher in the commercial team at the New Zealand Law Commission, working particularly on its insolvency and arbitration projects. I joined the University of Auckland in 2003 and since then have lectured and researched in insolvency and company law.
Research interests: Areas that I have an interest in include insolvency law, company law and legal history.
