Robert (Bob) Wilton has been with the Accounting and Finance Department of The University since 1996 and for the three years to 2003 held the position of Head of Department. Prior to this he held positions in investment and merchant banking as well as finance positions with a number of New Zealand public and private companies. He is a past chairman of the New Zealand Venture Capital Association and has been involved in a number of initial public offerings in New Zealand. Bob is a director of a number of companies including Delegats Group Limited and Oyster Bay Marlborough Vineyards Limited and teaches in both the undergraduate and postgraduate diploma programmes.
