Vic joined the Department of Accounting and Finance in February 2009. Prior to his appointment, Vic was an Assistant Professor of Financial Accounting at The University of Waterloo. Vic primarily teaches undergraduate and postgraduate courses in financial accounting and research methods. His research interests include governance issues in audit committees, auditor industry specialization, and capital markets and accounting information. Vic has published/forthcoming research papers in leading international journals, including The Accounting Review, Contemporary Accounting Research, Auditing: A Journal of Practice and Theory, Journal of Management Accounting Research, Journal of Accounting, Auditing and Finance, Accounting Horizons, and Journal of Financial Research.
